I let my judgment stand before hearing it echoed

Dear Delyara, This week I noticed that I trusted myself a little more quickly at work. I didn’t immediately look around the room for someone else’s confidence to borrow. I didn’t over-explain before I had even been questioned. I let my own judgment stand with a little more dignity than usual. That felt significant. Not because the decision was huge. Because the relationship to myself inside the decision changed. I think this is what confidence is becoming for me now: less performance, more staying with my own mind.
