I let my own judgment stand in the room before asking if it was allowed

Dear Delyara, I noticed how quickly I usually leave my own side professionally — how fast I check the room, soften, adjust, defer, seek outside certainty before trusting my own. This week, I stayed with my thought a little longer. That may sound small. It felt deeply structural. I think some of my biggest professional growth now is happening in the space between having a thought and abandoning it. This week, I abandoned fewer.
