I let something stay unresolved and still had a soft evening

Dear Delyara, There is something unfinished in my life right now. And tonight, for once, I did not let it take the whole room. That feels like peace. Not because the issue disappeared. Because my nervous system did not make it the center of every moment in spite of that. I ate. Rested. Sat quietly. Felt the unfinished thing in the background and still had access to some softness. That is a newer experience for me than I’d like to admit. And I’m grateful for it.
