I Let the Day End Unfinished
Dear Delyara, One room stayed a mess. One mug stayed in the sink. One email stayed unanswered. One emotional conversation stayed for another day. I went to bed anyway. That may sound small. For me, it was major. Because I have spent so much of my life believing completion is the moral price of rest. If things are still undone, then I am not yet allowed to stop without guilt. This week I challenged that. I stopped first. The guilt came. I didn’t obey it. That felt like actual healing.
