I let the unanswered thing stay unanswered and still softened anyway

Dear Delyara, That is peace for me now. There is still something unresolved. And still, I let the evening be kind. I didn’t need the answer in order to rest a little. I didn’t need certainty before I was allowed softness. That is not something I used to know how to do. Now I can do it sometimes. That feels like a profound mercy.
