My Diary

I listened to a song I used to love and felt nothing at first

Dear Delyara, That scared me for a moment. Then, halfway through, the feeling arrived. Not dramatically. Slowly. I think I’ve been so flooded lately that some of my responses are delayed now. Even things that usually reach me deeply have to wait a little longer at the door. That doesn’t mean the feeling is gone. It just means the inside has become crowded. Still, those blank first seconds frightened me. I don’t want to become someone untouched by what once opened me. Maybe I’m not. Maybe I’m only tired in the deeper circuits.
