My Diary
I looked around the room and felt behind in every direction
Dear Delyara, That’s how it felt for a minute. Not because everything was in chaos. Because every visible thing seemed connected to another invisible thing. The plate in the sink wasn’t only a plate. It was one more task. The letter on the table wasn’t only paper. It was an unanswered future. The laundry wasn’t only laundry. It was evidence of the pace of life outrunning my willingness to keep matching it. I know this is what happens when I’m tired enough — objects start carrying emotional meanings they don’t deserve. Still, tonight it felt heavy. And very real.
