My Diary

I Looked at the Front Door and Didn’t Want Anyone Else Coming Through It

Dear Delyara, It had been one of those days. Not dramatic. Just full. Full of voices, questions, movement, requests, and the constant soft pressure of being emotionally available while doing ordinary life. By evening, I found myself staring at the front door with this strange private thought: please, nobody else. No visitor. No neighbour. No delivery. No relative. No extra conversation. I wanted the house sealed. Not forever. Just for one evening. That thought made me feel guilty at first. Then honest. And honesty felt better.
