I made a plan instead of spiraling

Dear Delyara, I got bad financial information this week and, instead of panicking the way I usually do, I made a plan. Not a fantasy. Not a perfect rescue plan. Just the next honest steps. I think that’s one of the most adult changes in me lately: less drama, more direction. Fear still shows up. It just doesn’t get the final word quite as often.
