My Diary
I made packed lunches while the oven preheated for dinner
Dear Delyara, That’s the sort of overlap my life is full of now. Tomorrow entering tonight. School inside dinner. The next day already asking something from my hands before the current one is even fed. Sometimes I think the hardest part of domestic life isn’t the tasks themselves. It’s the way they stack. Lunch while dinner. Laundry while homework. Phone call while shopping. Listening while clearing. Comforting while cooking. Planning while driving. It is the constant layering that makes me feel I never fully arrive anywhere.
