My Diary
I made the bed and felt more emotionally soothed than I had any right to
Dear Delyara, It wasn’t about cleanliness. It was about structure. The sheets straight. Pillows right. Blanket folded. One place in the house not currently carrying argument, noise, money, school, half-finished jobs, or the feeling of being entered by too many people’s needs. I think the body knows when a room is finally not asking anything. Today mine found that in the bed. That may sound small. It was not small to me.
