The SilenceAnger
I make anger sound thoughtful enough that no one has to notice how much it hurt
Dear Delyara, That is one of my oldest skills. And one of the saddest. I can turn raw anger into an elegant sentence so quickly that the original wound becomes almost invisible. I stay composed, explain it well, bring context, show self-awareness, and by the end of it the room is so comfortable with my anger that it no longer has to respond to the harm underneath it. I think I learned early that ugly anger was dangerous. So I became good at the socially acceptable kind. But acceptable anger can still leave you very alone.
