The SilenceLoneliness
I miss being emotionally expected by someone
Dear Delyara, Not just loved in theory. Expected. The kind of closeness where your mood has weight in someone else’s day. Where your silence registers. Where your absence creates a shape. Where your ordinary self has become part of someone’s emotional furniture in a stable, living way. I think that’s what I miss when I say I’m lonely. Not noise. Not attention. Emotional expectation. Being built into someone’s inner map. That feels rarer than it should.
