The SilenceLoneliness

I miss having one person who notices my lower energy before I start performing around it

Dear Delyara, There is a stage before collapse, before tears, before visible irritability, before my face fully tells on me. I wish someone lived close enough to my real emotional weather to notice me there. To ask gently, to lighten the room a little, to adjust without needing a formal announcement. Instead, too often, I perform normality until I can no longer do it smoothly enough to hide what’s happening. That is such a costly pattern. By the time care becomes available, I have already overextended myself into the wrong shape. I don’t need dramatic rescue. I crave earlier noticing.
