I moved before I felt fully protected

Dear Delyara, I think that’s courage in its most human form. Not boldness. Not certainty. Not the absence of vulnerability. Just movement before full protection arrives. This week I let myself act while still aware of exposure, still not fully sure, still feeling the tenderness of wanting something enough to be seen wanting it. That used to stop me more often. It stopped me a little less this time. That matters. A lot.
