I moved before the moment felt fully safe

Dear Delyara, That matters because for a long time I thought safety had to come first. This week I let myself move while still a little exposed, a little uncertain, a little aware that I did not have total emotional protection around the action. I did it anyway. It didn’t feel bold. It felt human. And more useful than waiting. I’m beginning to trust that courage often feels less like power and more like refusing to postpone life until comfort signs off on it. That is a very important shift in me.
