I moved while still feeling exposed

Dear Delyara, The fear was there. I moved anyway. Not because I became fearless. Because I am starting to understand that waiting for full emotional safety before action costs too much. So many things in life happen while feeling slightly exposed, slightly unsure, slightly unready. This week I let that be true and still acted. That is the kind of courage I can actually use. Not the dramatic kind. The human kind.
