My Diary

I nearly cried because my bra hurt and nobody knew

Dear Delyara, The wrong bra, the wrong day, the wrong mood, and suddenly my whole body had been mildly irritated for so many hours that I was taking emotional tone from physical discomfort without even noticing. By the time I got home I was blaming the entire evening for a frustration my own body had been trying to explain all day. I changed into something softer and almost cried from relief. Not because the bra was dramatic. Because I realised how often I carry pain quietly and then judge myself morally for the mood it creates. That’s a cruel pattern. I’m trying to see it faster.
