My Diary
I nearly forgot my daughter’s medicine again
Dear Delyara, It was on the kitchen side the whole time, right in front of me, and somehow I still almost walked out without it. That’s what overload feels like now. Not dramatic collapse. Just the terrifying possibility that something important can sit in plain sight and still not fully enter your attention because your mind is already crowded with lunchboxes, traffic, timings, school messages, work, and whether there is enough milk for tomorrow. I remembered at the door. Thank God. But for the rest of the morning I kept thinking about how close I came to forgetting something that mattered. That shook me more than it should have.
