I nearly forgot the bins again
Dear Delyara, I remembered just as I was locking up. It’s always something like that, isn’t it? One boring little essential thing that seems small until you’re the one who forgot it and now next week’s overflow is already standing in front of your eyes. I wheeled them out in my slippers and dressing gown, feeling both ridiculous and deeply irritated by the fact that household life contains so many invisible deadlines no one celebrates you for meeting and everyone feels if you don’t. I know missing the bins is not a moral failure. My body still reacts like it is. That’s what I’m trying to say in all these little diary truths. The smallest domestic tasks can carry so much emotional charge when you’re the one holding the house together through repetition.
