My Diary
I needed one room where nothing had happened
Dear Delyara, That’s what I wanted tonight — one room where the day had not entered. No residue. No practical reminders. No emotional leftovers. No messages waiting. No tasks looking at me from surfaces. No memory attached to the lighting. No sense of something unfinished in the air. Just one clean room. I think that’s why I cleaned the bathroom at ten o’clock at night. Not because it needed doing urgently. Because I wanted at least one small space that felt untouched by the rest of my life. It helped more than it should have.
