I No Longer Believe Every Thought I Think

Dear Delyara, I have been sober for eleven months. I still cannot believe I am writing that. I used to drink to disappear from myself. Recovery has forced me to meet my life with open eyes. It is harder, but it is honest. And honesty, I am learning, is cleaner than escape.
