The UnknownUncertainty
I no longer know what I can count on in my own life
Dear Delyara, When I was younger, I thought adulthood would feel more solid than this. I thought there would be answers by now. A firmer sense of self. A stable place to stand. Some clearer emotional confidence in body, marriage, money, health, purpose. Instead, what I have is more complexity than certainty. More layers than clarity. More responsibility than resolution. Health feels less predictable. Marriage less secure. Work less trustworthy. The future less shaped. Even my own mind less immediately readable than I want it to be. I am tired of uncertainty entering everything. It makes ordinary life feel expensive.
