The UnknownConfusion

I no longer know which feelings are mine and which are just exhaustion

Dear Delyara, That confusion has become one of the hardest things to live with. Am I truly angry, or just tired? Is the marriage wrong, or am I overwhelmed? Am I depressed, or burned out? Do I need a career change, or a month of sleep? Is this intuition, hormones, trauma, grief, stress, or simply what happens when a woman carries too much for too long? I don’t know. And because I don’t know, every decision gets slower. Heavier. More uncertain. I am tired of living in emotional fog. I am tired of second-guessing the legitimacy of my own inner life. There is a special loneliness in not being able to read yourself clearly when so much depends on the decisions you’re meant to make next.
