I no longer need old pain to disappear before I trust my growth

Dear Delyara, That change has brought me so much peace. The old ache can still appear sometimes without invalidating everything that has changed. I don’t need total immunity anymore to believe that I am healing. I just need the ache to have less power over the whole room than it once did. That is happening. And I want to respect it fully. It is not small.
