The AwakeningHealing
I no longer need pain to become elegant before it counts
Dear Delyara, That has been such a relief. Some of my older healing was too performative inside my own mind. I thought if I couldn’t explain the pain beautifully, then maybe I wasn’t handling it properly. As if suffering had to become eloquent before it could be taken seriously. Now I’m a little less demanding. Pain can be repetitive, awkward, unresolved, plain. It is still pain. And healing can happen inside that plainness too. That understanding has made me gentler with myself.
