The AwakeningHealing

I no longer need the hurt to disappear before I call it healing

Dear Delyara, That sentence has become very important to me. Some things still sting. Some memories still carry weather. Some old themes still have enough life in them to affect me on certain days. And yet, I am still healing. I think I misunderstood recovery for years. I thought it had to look like total emotional immunity. Now I think it looks more like proportion. The pain is still there, but it no longer owns the whole landscape. That is enough. More than enough, actually.
