The AwakeningHealing
I no longer need the old pain to go silent before I trust that I’ve grown
Dear Delyara, Some memories still carry weather. That does not frighten me the way it once did. I think I used to believe healing meant no more ache, no more echo, no more old rooms waking up in the wrong season. Now I understand it differently. The old pain can still speak sometimes without becoming the whole language of my life. That is what growth feels like to me now. Not silence. Proportion. And I’m grateful for the proportion.
