The UnknownConfusion

I no longer trust my own interpretations as quickly as I used to

Dear Delyara, A bad feeling about work — is it wisdom or burnout? A distance in the marriage — is it serious or am I just tired? A wish to leave something — is it intuition or panic? A low mood — is it depression, hormones, grief, exhaustion, or all of them standing in the same room together? I don’t know. And because I don’t know, every feeling turns into analysis before it becomes action. I miss the version of myself that moved with more internal clarity, even when she made mistakes. Now I can spend whole evenings interpreting my own inner life and still go to bed without certainty. That is exhausting in a way that is hard to describe to anyone who isn’t also living it.
