I normalize too much because stopping feels expensive

Dear Delyara, I think that is one of the hardest truths for me. I normalize what should be a signal because stopping feels expensive. Rest takes time. Appointments take money, planning, energy, attention. Listening earlier would require changing pace before I’m ready to admit pace needs changing. So I normalize. And the body waits, until it doesn’t. I know this isn’t sustainable. That knowledge still hasn’t made it easy to stop living this way.
