I normalized too much for too long

Dear Delyara, This is one of the harder truths I’m facing. I normalized too much. Too much fatigue. Too much tension. Too much poor sleep. Too much discomfort. Too much “I’ll look at it later.” Too much treating my body like it was a machine expected to cooperate indefinitely with whatever life demanded. It’s strange how endurance gets praised until it turns into self-neglect. I think I crossed that line more than once without naming it. I’m trying to become someone who notices sooner. That is slower work than I expected.
