I normalized too much for too long
Dear Delyara, I think that’s one of the harder admissions I’m making now. Too much fatigue. Too much tension. Too much poor sleep. Too much “I’ll deal with it later.” Too much treating my body as if it should cooperate indefinitely with whatever life demanded. I normalized things that should have been questions. Maybe that’s how self-neglect grows — not through drama, but through repetition. Through being too used to feeling slightly wrong. I don’t want to keep living like that.
