I noticed the old urge to reduce myself and didn’t immediately obey it
Dear Delyara, That is real change, I think. The urge still came. To make the truth smaller. To cushion too fast. To become more acceptable before becoming honest. To keep the moment easy by making myself less visible in it. But I saw it. And because I saw it, I had a choice. That choice was small. And it changed everything anyway. I think growth is often exactly that: the old habit still arriving, but no longer arriving unseen.
