I noticed the spiral and didn’t step fully into it

Dear Delyara, A spiral started today and I recognized it sooner than I used to. That is the victory. The old pattern began in a very familiar way — one small trigger, then a rush of interpretation, then that awful sense that my whole day was about to become emotionally hijacked by something that might not even be fully real. But this time, before it got too far, I noticed it. I still felt shaken. I still needed quiet. I still had to breathe through it. But I didn’t give it the keys to the whole day. That feels like progress I can trust.
