I opened the email instead of giving it a whole evening

Dear Delyara, There are certain emails that can ruin hours of my life before I even read them. One subject line, one name, one official tone, and my mind starts furnishing the whole worst-case scenario while the message itself sits there unopened and probably much smaller than my body has already decided it is. This time I opened it quickly. It wasn’t wonderful. It also wasn’t a disaster. It was simply information, which is exactly what it would have remained if fear hadn’t been given six hours to decorate it. I’m trying to give reality the first turn more often now. Today I did.
