The BondFriendship

I outgrew a friend I still love

Dear Delyara, There is a friendship in my life that no longer fits, and I don’t know how to grieve it properly because nothing dramatic happened. No betrayal. No single unforgivable moment. No clean ending. Just change. Different values. Different timing. Different emotional languages. Different capacities for honesty. I still love the version of us that once existed. But I don’t think we live in that version anymore. That kind of loss is so quiet it almost has nowhere to go.
