I passed the exam after learning in Braille

Dear Delyara, I lost most of my sight during the second year of my law degree. At first, I tried to continue using enlarged print until headaches and exhaustion made studying impossible. I considered leaving university. Disability services helped me learn Braille, access screen-reading software, and obtain adapted materials, but legal notation and footnotes made every chapter slow. I repeated one year and watched my original classmates graduate without me. Today, I received my final exam result: pass with distinction. I read the result through the screen reader three times. My mother asked why I kept replaying it. I told her I wanted to hear every word without anyone summarising it for me. Next year, I begin training with a legal-aid organisation. Losing sight changed how I study and how long the path took. It did not remove me from the destination.
