I put my own appointment lower on the list again

Dear Delyara, I noticed it in the moment and still did it. The GP appointment was available next week, but it clashed with school pickup, which clashed with work, which would have meant asking someone else for help, which would have required a conversation, and before I knew it I was rearranging my own health around everyone else’s smoother day as if that were the most natural thing in the world. That’s what bothers me. Not only that I do it. How quickly it feels normal. I booked the later slot instead. It will be less convenient for me. It will be more convenient for everyone else. There was no drama in that decision. Just one more quiet place where I made myself more adjustable than I needed to be.
