My Diary
I put my phone in another room and felt my whole body notice
Dear Delyara, Not instantly relaxed. But different. As if part of my nervous system had been standing at a window all day waiting for someone to knock, and now the window was finally out of sight. The body did not celebrate. It softened cautiously. That caution told me something too. It told me how trained I have become by interruption. Tonight, distance felt medicinal. Not anti-social. Medicinal.
