I realized I’d been clenching my teeth for hours

Dear Delyara, It’s amazing what the body confesses once you finally listen. I had been walking around all day calling myself fine while apparently my jaw had been recording a very different story. When I noticed, I tried to relax it and felt that little ache that comes from holding too much for too long without realizing you were holding at all. That’s what today was like. Nothing explosive. Just prolonged, low-level holding. I think many of my hardest days are made of that. Not crisis. Continuous small bracing.
