I recovered before the whole day was gone

Dear Delyara, I had a hard moment this week and the thing I’m proud of is not that it didn’t happen. It’s that I came back before it took the whole day. There was a time when one bad feeling turned into a full emotional narrative. It got to interpret every silence, every interaction, every practical problem that came afterward. Now, more often, the feeling still arrives but it no longer claims total authority. That is a deep kind of progress. Less dramatic than people imagine. Much more useful.
