I recovered faster than I used to

Dear Delyara, I still get low. Still anxious. Still overwhelmed sometimes. That isn’t the victory. The victory is that I recover faster now. I do not always disappear into those states as completely as I once did. I can feel bad without turning the feeling into a prophecy. I can spiral a little and still find my way back before the whole day belongs to it. That quicker return has changed my life in ways that might not look impressive from the outside. To me, it feels enormous. I want to remember that.
