I responded to the signal before I became impossible to ignore

Dear Delyara, That is the form of health victory I’m trying to build my life around. Earlier noticing. Earlier responding. Earlier care. Not waiting until the body becomes dramatic enough to justify what it already asked for in smaller ways. I’ve lived too long under the idea that pushing through is automatically admirable. It isn’t always. Sometimes it is just delayed listening. This week I listened sooner. That feels wiser than endurance.
