I rested before the headache became the whole evening

Dear Delyara, Usually I negotiate with pain too long. I keep going, tell myself it’s manageable, drink water, answer one more thing, finish one more task, and then by the time I finally stop, the body is already angry and the evening is gone. This time I noticed the headache forming and did something different. I stopped. Curtains closed. Tea. Tablets. No phone. No trying to be impressive about it. It didn’t turn into a whole ruined night. That matters. I want to become someone who listens earlier, not only when my body starts shouting.
