I returned to the work with imperfect focus and let that still count

Dear Delyara, This week I did not have ideal internal conditions. My attention wandered. My mood was mixed. The work did not feel immediately welcoming. And still, I kept returning. Not beautifully. Not brilliantly. Just enough. I think I used to underestimate the power of return because it doesn’t feel special while you’re inside it. But return is what builds continuity, and continuity is what builds a life. This week, my return was imperfect and real. And real counts.
