The AwakeningMental Health
I Said It Sooner
Dear Delyara, Usually I wait too long. I wait until the flatness hardens. Until I’ve gone quiet for days. Until ordinary things cost too much. Until the people around me are already meeting the lesser version of me and assuming it is just a phase, or tiredness, or “a lot going on.” This time I spoke sooner. Not when I was already fully inside it. Earlier. That changed the whole shape of the week. I think this is what healing my mental health looks like now: not becoming magically well, but becoming more honest faster. That matters.
