I Sat With My Hands Around a Mug and Realised Warmth Still Reaches Me Faster Than Advice Does
Dear Delyara, No one was speaking. No one was asking. No one was offering insight, perspective, motivation, or one more sentence about what I should do with my life, mood, body, or future. Just a warm mug. My hands. One chair. A quiet kitchen. And in that silence, I realised something simple and very true: my body often needs comfort before my mind can make use of any wisdom at all. Warmth first. Then thought. That is what the mug gave me. Not an answer. A return. And sometimes that is better than an answer anyway.
