I saw the reflex and did something different

Dear Delyara, An old reflex showed up today — one of those deeply familiar patterns that usually completes itself before I’ve fully realized it has started. This time I saw it. And did something different. The difference was small. A pause. A different sentence. Not over-explaining. Not rushing to fix. Not returning to the old shape of myself in the room. Small, but decisive. I think a lot of change is exactly that: the moment the old path no longer gets traveled all the way to the end.
