I see the love under the limitation

Dear Delyara, What I’m grateful for now is not perfection. It’s recognition. I can see my parents’ limitations more clearly than I could when I was younger. And strangely, that has also made some of their love easier to see. Not because the painful parts have disappeared. Because the whole picture has become more human. There is tenderness in understanding someone more fully, even if that understanding arrives late.
