Small JoysHobbies
I spent one hour doing something that did not need to become useful later
Dear Delyara, No audience. No product. No lesson. No future value. No hidden self-improvement. Just an hour that belonged to itself. I think parts of me are starving for exactly that kind of life — activity that is not always being evaluated for how it can be turned into something else. To do something because it holds me kindly in the present is still strangely radical for me. This week I had a little of that. And I came back from it softer.
